Marvin (the Martian Crane)

For upcoming heavy duty work at the launch site, spacex bought its own crawler crane to not have to relie on supliers and not have to deal with limited contracts. The new crane is a Liebherr LR11000 crawler crane. Marvin (LabPadre's Nightbot spells it Maarvin) will work in the SL8F2 conriguration. The assambely of the new crane as well as de delivery at Starbase began on October 29. 2021. Although the first parts of it where spotted on September 1st. 2021 in Germany, see The Track
